Ben DeWinter

Ben grew up in the suburbs of Milwaukee, where he worked for several landscaping contractors throughout high school and college and developed a lasting passion for construction. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, earning a degree in Accounting and Finance.

After graduation, Ben spent five years at a multi-family office, where he focused on tax planning, estate planning, and investment management for high-net-worth families. He managed relationships with clients whose businesses and investments ranged from real estate to industrial manufacturing. He later transitioned into a corporate accounting role with a multinational company that developed software and hardware for hospital operating rooms.

Today, Ben brings together his enthusiasm for construction and his accounting expertise to support Flatwater's continued growth and to provide clients and industry partners with accurate, timely information. In addition to working in office, he can often be found on-site assisting with projects and helping train new team members.
