Erik Darbo

Project Manager / Superintendent

Erik was born and raised in southeastern Minnesota and grew up on a border town along the Mississippi River. As a child he spent a lot of time outdoors playing sports, hiking, biking, fishing, snowboarding and all things that the bluffs of the driftless valley and the Mississippi River had to offer.

Erik relocated to Milwaukee in 2008 to attend college at UW Milwaukee where he received a Bachelor of the Fine Arts in Jewelry/Metalsmithing and Sculpture. While in college Erik fell in love with designing and building custom fine furniture. His first job out of college was for a design-build firm as a custom metal fabricator constructing restaurants, furniture, and sculptures for many prominent downtown Milwaukee establishments. Working there allowed him to learn the value of working hard and going above and beyond to make our customers happy. It was also his first taste of hands-on experience working in a custom fabrication shop. Erik later transitioned into sales working for a local lumberyard selling building materials and tools for the residential and commercial construction industries. He enjoyed his time in sales specifically for the problem solving and conversational side of business. Erik is an extrovert by nature and love meeting and conversing with new people to help solve problems and create lastingrelationships.  For the last two years, Erik has been a full time trim and finish carpenter working on high end new construction homes and renovations. Jumping back into the hands on side of building has pushed his skills to new heights and made him a better craftsman, intellectual and father.

Outside of work Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, playing guitar, building furniture/woodworking and teaching his kids how to navigate life.
